Meet Phillip M. Palella, DDS

dr-phil-palellaHi, my name is Dr. Phillip Palella and I am the owner of Modern Dental Chicago. I am very happy to be practicing here in my hometown, Chicago, and more specifically Wicker Park. I was born, raised, and educated here in the great state of Illinois. I believe the people of "The Windy City" are the most hard working, resilient people in the world. It is an honor to provide dental care to the people of Chicago.

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2004. While in school, I was the recipient of the Army Health Professional Scholarship Program (HPSP) award. Our great country paid for my dental education and I will forever be grateful. While in the Army, I was able to enroll in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. This training gave me the skills to manage patients with complex and difficult dental needs using an advanced multi-disciplinary approach. During my residency, I received additional education and training in oral surgery, implants, root canals, and cosmetics. I expanded my knowledge and skills as a general dentist, while serving our great men and women in uniform. I also deployed to Iraq in 2007 for fifteen months for Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 1st Cavalry Division.

I understand that for most people dental treatment can be stressful and unpleasant. Our office is designed to provide a relaxing, comfortable environment where patients can receive the best dental treatments available. My goal is to make each visit a positive experience. I get the most satisfaction when I hear a patient say, "That was easy", "Were done already", or "That was painless." Communication between patient and dentist is critical to a successful relationship. I want to make sure my patients are educated about all procedures, all treatment options are explained, and all their questions have been answered.

I am a member of many professional organizations and have completed many hours of continuing education. I place great importance on providing the highest standard of care for my patients. Continuing education is necessary to offer the latest most advanced treatment options available. I am committed to providing family and cosmetic dentistry to all age groups. I look forward to meeting with you and your family to provide dental care.

I got my invisalign through Dr. Palella and couldn't be happier. Nobody noticed I had braces! And it was really easy to use them. I even got a super deal on them too.
